In a world where a home is increasingly becoming a scarce commodity, and the sense of stability associated with it an increasingly fleeting illusion, residential architecture reveals its inherent ambiguity. The exhibition TERRA COGNITA opens a dialogue between photography and the artistic object, inviting visitors to experience the theme of space through multiple senses, approaching it simultaneously as a functional, aesthetic, and emotional structure. The works of seven artists examine architecture as a conceptual trap, where often contradictory needs, interests, and expectations converge. The home, associated with permanence and shelter, is also understood as a manifestation of time, aspirations, and limitations. The exhibition explores the gap between what we associate with the notion of home and what residential space is becoming today: a promise, a project, an investment, a refuge, and a subject of personal negotiation.
